With the increase of pirated material and file sharing torrent sites, the sites are being blocked but it is a lazy overreaction despite, blocking specific pages can solve the purpose. Due to this people using file hosting sites for backups and other social networking sites are suffering a huge loss. These sites are not illegal and must not be banned .So we have some methods to regain access to the blocked parts.
1. Proxy Services: A proxy server allows you to gain access to websites by passing through someone else's internet connection. Although the speed of internet connection depends on the number of people accessing the service in unit time. Proxies are unsafe for accessing personal data as they can manipulate anything you access.
2. Caching: Google's caching server provides recent copies of websites which is not the actual website but just a copy. You can search on Google by writing "Cache:" with the address of website.
3. TOR Browser: It is slow than your internet speed because of multiple hosts around the world. It is actually a tunnel through ISP's . You can download it from www.torproject.org and run the .exe file to install.
4. Torrent downloaders: Websites like ZbigZ.com and Put.io download the torrent files that you ask them to download at very high speeds and you can later download them from your default download manager direct to your PC.
5.VPN(Virtual Private Network): VPN's help connect from anywhere but it's encrypted and highly secure. Although it is difficult to set up but it enables you to access anything on the internet without any mere restriction. Softwares like ProXPN and XyberGhost allow you to set up your own.
So you can use any of the above methods in order to get access on anything you want on the internet or the web from anywhere, anytime, any place. Even some android apps are available for the same purpose like "droid vpn" which comes with an installer.
